Jordanian Field Hospital member injured in Khan Younis

Ammon News - A member of the Jordanian Private Field Hospital/2 in Khan Yunis, south of the Gaza Strip, was injured during the past hours as a result of clashes in the vicinity of the hospital, the official spokesperson for the Jordanian Armed Forces/Arab Army, said on Wednesday.
The source indicated that the member suffered a gunshot wound the right thigh and right hand area, and his health condition is moderate.
The injured member will be evacuated by air to the Kingdom to receive the necessary treatment under royal directives, the source added.
The source also stated that the hospital, which was subjected to severe material damage as a result of the continuous Israeli bombing in its surroundings from since Tuesday until Wednesday morning, will continue to perform its medical and humanitarian duty towards the people in the Gaza Strip.
The Jordanian Armed Forces - the Arab Army holds Israel fully responsible for the safety of the hospital’s salaries, which carry out its humanitarian duty in accordance with international laws and norms, the source said, adding that the attack on the Jordanian field hospital represents a flagrant violation of international humanitarian law and the Fourth Geneva Convention of 1949.
The source also confirmed that the Jordanian government will take all necessary measures against this aggression.
