Ammon News - Director of Operations and Consular Affairs at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and Expatriates, Sufian Qudah said that the Ministry is following up on the incident of the killing of a Jordanian citizen as a result of an armed robbery with intent to steal while leaving his workplace in Chicago.

Qudah explained that the Directorate of Operations and Consular Affairs and the Jordanian Embassy in Washington are following up with the competent American authorities on the investigations into this unfortunate incident to determine its course, identify its perpetrators, and ensure that they are brought to justice to receive their punishment.

The Jordanian Embassy in Washington has begun taking the required official procedures related to transporting the body to Jordan, and in coordination with the family of the deceased, to transport the body after the investigations are completed, he added.

Qudah expressed his sincere condolences and sympathy to the family of the deceased.
