Ammon News - The Public Security Directorate (PSD) announced Wednesday the start of an expand security operation in Al-Ruwaished region to pursue and arrest drug smugglers and dealers.

A security operation began on Wednesday morning, with the aim of eliminating drug smugglers and dealers, the PSD said.

The PSD explained that the security operation comes within the context of the state’s continuing efforts to maintain the security and safety of society, and to confront anyone who tries to undermine the security of Jordan, its borders, and the safety of its people, within a framework of integration of roles, tasks, and coordination with the Armed Forces - the Arab Army, and the relevant security services.
