Ajloun records highest rainfall in 24 hours

Ammon News - Ajloun / Ras Munif Governorate had the highest percentage of rainfall during the past 24 hours, recording 58.3 mm, according to the Jordan Meteorological Department (JMD).

Irbid Governorate came in second place, recording 47.5 mm, Samma 42.0 mm, Baqura 35.5 mm, Ramtha 20.5 mm, Wadi Rayan 21.0 mm, and Jerash Governorate 17.0 mm.

The central regions of the Kingdom did not witness a high rate of precipitation, as Jubaiha region witnessed 1.5 mm, the Deir Alla region 22.0 mm, and the Zarqa Governorate 1.5 mm.

The southern regions did not witness rainfall, while Mafraq Governorate recorded 8.2 mm, according to the JMD.
