Ammon News - The weather on Thursday, will be relatively cold in most regions of the Kingdom, and moderate in temperature in the Jordan Valley, the Dead Sea, and Aqaba, with quantities of clouds appearing at high altitudes, and moderate southeasterly winds prevailing, active at times, especially in the east of the Kingdom.

Jordan Meteorological Department (JMD) warns in its report of the possibility of decreased horizontal visibility due to dust in the east of the Kingdom, the possibility of decreased horizontal visibility at night hours due to fog and clouds touching the ground’s surface over the northern highlands, and the risk of slipping on roads in areas witnessing rainfall.

Friday, the Kingdom will gradually be affected by a cold and humid air mass accompanying an extension of an air depression, where temperatures will drop slightly and the percentage of humidity in the air will increase, so the weather will be relatively cold in most areas, and the temperature will be pleasant in the Jordan Valley, the Dead Sea, and Aqaba.

In the evening and night hours, the weather turns cold and partly cloudy to cloudy, and showers of rain fall in the north of the Kingdom, extending during the night hours to parts of the central regions.

On Saturday, temperatures also continued to drop, recording slightly lower than their general average for this time of the year, as cold and partly cloudy to cloudy conditions prevail in most regions, with rain falling from time to time in the north and center of the Kingdom and limited parts of the northeast of the Kingdom.

Sunday will be cold in most areas and pleasant in the Jordan Valley, the Dead Sea, and Aqaba, with clouds appearing at low altitudes. Showers of rain are expected in the north and center of the Kingdom, gradually weakening in the afternoon hours, and winds will be westerly, moderate in speed.
