Ammon News - Jordan condemned Tuesday the Israeli air strike that targeted Al Ahli Arab (Baptist) Hospital in the Gaza Strip this evening, holding Israel, the occupying power, responsible for this serious development.

The spokesperson of the Foreign Ministry, Sufyan Qudah, said the Kingdom rejects and denounces this act, which contradicts all human and moral values, and the rules of international humanitarian law, especially the Fourth Geneva Convention relating to the rules of war.

Qudah expressed his deepest condolences to the families of the victims, wishing a speedy recovery to the injured.


The spokesperson called for providing international protection for the Palestinian people, stressing the need to join efforts to immediately stop the raging war in Gaza.
