Weak magnitude 3.1 quake recorded in Aqaba

Ammon News - The Jordanian Seismological Observatory (JSO) at the Ministry of Energy and Mineral Resources, on Wednesday, recorded an earthquake, with a magnitude of 3.1 on the Richter scale, occurring south of the city of Aqaba at 2:34pm local time.

The head of the Jordanian Seismological Observatory Ghassan Sweidan said that this earthquake considered a weak and ineffective earthquake.

The JSO confirmed that a number of citizens felt the tremor.
