Ammon News - Occupation forces claimed that they have thwarted an attempt to infiltrate 7 people from Jordan, on Monday morning, into the occupied Palestinian territories across the Jordanian border.

The occupation army forces arrested 5 of them, while two others managed to escape and return to the Jordanian territories, according to the Hebrew newspaper "Walla."

The newspaper added that the occupation army thwarted an attempt to smuggle weapons near the Ashdot Ya'akov settlement in the Jordan Valley.

It also clarified that in the last year the Israeli Ministry of Defense planned to fence the border with Jordan, or at least parts of it, although it quickly became clear that there was no budget for this.
