Ammon News - AMMONNEWS - Rakan Qaddah - Jerash Civil Defense forces Sunday night extinguished two separate fires that erupted in Tal Al Rumman and Seil El Zarqa areas.

The fires consumed over 25 denums (around 6.25 acres) of woodlands.

The first fire erupted in a plant nursery near Seil El Zarqa bridge in Jerash Governorate burning over 3 denums of land planted with trees.

The second fire erupted in Tal Al Rumman in a piece of grassy land that contained a lot of dry wood, causing the fire to spread and engulf over 22 denums of agricultural plants.

Press office at the Public Security Directorate said that no injuries were reported as a result of the two fires, and added that security forces began investigating the two incidents to determine the cause.
