Ammon News - The Jordanian-Saudi Joint Technical Committee for Land Transport wrapped up its two-day meetings in Amman Monday.

During the meetings, the two sides agreed to implement the outcomes of the discussions, in addition to the agreements that had been signed.

According to a statement by the Ministry of Transport, the committee discussed issues aimed at enhancing bilateral cooperation between the two countries in many areas of the land transport sector related to goods and passengers, as well as issues that will contribute to facilitating procedures to serve common interests.

The committee underscored the importance of adhering to the technical requirements to enhance road safety, and recommended following up on and completing the (electronic) technical link project between the two countries.
