Ammon News - Minister of Health Firas Hawari Sunday evening arrived in Erbil, the capital of the Kurdistan Region of Iraq, leading an official delegation to take part in the Jordanian-Kurdistan Medical Forum.

Upon their arrival at the Erbil International Airport, Hawari and the accompanying delegation were received by Health Minister of the Kurdistan Region of Iraq Saman Barzanji, the governor of Erbil, and a number of senior officials.

The Forum is slated to be held on Monday, under the auspices of Masrour Barzani, the Prime Minister of the Kurdistan Region, with the organization and wide participation of the Jordanian Ministry of Health, the Jordanian Consulate, the Royal Medical Services, the Jordan Tourism Board, the Jordan Food and Drug Administration, and the Private Hospitals Association, in addition to a number of private hospitals and pharmaceutical companies.
