Ammon News - Oil affairs expert, Hashem Akel, predicted a reduction in fuel prices in June pricing, by varying rates between 1% and 8%, as a result of the continued decline in Brent crude prices globally, which was reflected in the prices of oil derivatives.
In an interview with Ammon, Akel expected to reduce 90-octane gasoline price by Jd0.037 per liter, or by 4%, while the price of 95-octane to be reduced by JD0.032 per liter, or 1.5%.
Akel also expected a reduction in the price of diesel by JD0.029, or 3.7%, and a reduction in the price of kerosene by JD0.055, or 8.8%.
He said that the indicators indicate that prices will remain at the same rates and will not witness significant increases, because the pressures on prices are still present, on top of which is the specter of economic recession, high interest rates and the decline in industrial production in China.
