Ammon News - UN Security Council will hold Wednesday an emergency meeting to discuss the Israeli aggression on Gaza Strip, which has left dozens of martyrs and wounded, most of them are civilians.

The meeting comes at the invitation of France and China, the permanent members of the council, and the UAE, a non-permanent member of the council.

UAE Mission to the UN said on Twitter: " The UAE, France and China called on the Security Council to hold an emergency closed meeting on Wednesday afternoon, to discuss the disturbing developments in the Gaza Strip."

While the Palestinian President, Mahmoud Abbas, called on the Security Council to intervene immediately to stop the Israeli aggression on Gaza Strip.

On Tuesday morning, the occupation forces launched an aggression against the Gaza Strip, killing 15 Palestinians, including 4 women and 4 children.
