Ministry qualifies, licenses 40 bilingual tourist guides

Ammon News - The Ministry of Tourism and Antiquities has licensed 40 foreign-speaking tourist guides after assisting in their training and certification in cooperation the Jordan Tour Guides Association and the Ammon Applied University College.

The ministry said in a statement on Wednesday that it had issued certificates for tour guides who spoke French, Russian, Italian, Spanish, German, Chinese, Greek, Portuguese, Polish, Romanian, Turkish, Thai, and Urdu.

According to the statement, year-round training programs are offered as part of the Jordan National Tourism Strategy 2021–2025 to meet the growing demand for tour guides as the industry continues to grow.
