Ammon News - Official figures showed that Jordan has bought 310,000 barrels of Kirkuk crude since the beginning of January.
According to the figures reported by Alrai Newspaper the selling price of a barrel of oil reached 61.6 dollars, as a preferential price over the international price.
This preferential price was $16 less than the global average price, which ranged from $75-83 per barrel during the current month.
Jordan's import of Iraqi crude oil comes according to an agreement signed between Jordan and Iraq in 2021, at a rate of 10,000 barrels per day, transported via tanks from Kirkuk to the oil refinery in Zarqa.
