Foreign Ministry offers condolences over Istanbul terror bombing victims

Ammon News - The Ministry of Foreign Affairs and Expatriates on Sunday expressed its deepest condolences and sympathy to Turkey over victims of the terrorist bombing that took place in Taksim avenue in central Istanbul today.

In a statement, the ministry's official spokesperson, Sinan Majali, condemned the bombing, considering it a "cowardly" terrorist act that claimed innocent lives.

Majali also affirmed Jordan's "absolute" solidarity with Turkey, stressing that terrorism is a common enemy that Jordan condemns in all its forms.

The ministry also wished the injured a speedy recovery.
