Ammon News - Prime Minister, Dr. Bishr Khasawneh, affirmed the government's commitment to follow Royal directives expressed by His Majesty King Abdullah II in today's Speech from Throne at Parliament.

The PM said His Majesty urged commitment to observe a spirit of cooperation and hard work to achieve requirements of Jordan's three modernization tracks on political, economic and administrative arenas.

Speaking in an intervention during the Senate session Sunday, PM said:" We were honored today to listen to Speech from Throne, which came as a comprehensive guiding speech after approving the reference plans regulating Jordan's three modernization paths: Political System Modernization, Economic Modernization Vision and Public Sector Modernization Plan."

The gov't will work to achieve modernization requirements in the context of this "flexible" segregation of authorities constitutionally, but their cooperation is necessary to ensure success of this endeavor, Khasawneh said.

PM also stressed the need to work jointly in a bid to achieve His Majesty's aspirations within the framework of this cooperative formula that is implemented by loyal Jordanians and their belief in the Kingdom's "permanent" capability to make achievements.

PM noted: "This endeavor also seeks to prove with evidence and proof to the few skeptical group that Jordan can always advance the Royal visions aimed to best achieve the citizens' interest."

At the beginning of his speech, PM congratulated Senate President, Faisal Fayez, and its members for the Royal decree on their appointments at Upper House.
