HPD said that the repeated use of the brakes by the vehicle while it was traveling down Wadi Araba towards the south after the lower Mujib security station, led to the ignition of the tanker's wheels and its transfer to some loaded vehicles. The fire was brought under control by civil defense cadres, without causing any casualties, HPD added. The HPD indicated that its cadres are currently dealing with the accident to reopen the road and allow traffic to flow until the vehicle is lifted.

Ammon News - A fire broke out in a truck carrying a number of vehicles this morning on Thursday, on Wadi Araba road towards the south, according to the Highway Patrol Department (HPD).

HPD said that the repeated use of the brakes by the vehicle while it was traveling down Wadi Araba towards the south after the lower Mujib security station, led to the ignition of the tanker's wheels and its transfer to some loaded vehicles.
