Ammon News - AJLOUN (Petra) –– HRH Prince Raad, president of the Higher Council for the Affairs of People with Disabilities (HCAPD), on Monday underlined His Majesty King Abdullah’s commitment to endorse conventions aimed at ensuring the rights of the disabled.

Attending the launch of a community-based rehabilitation programme in Ajloun Governorate, Prince Raad stressed the importance of such programmes in supporting persons with disabilities (PWD) and their families, noting that HCAPD is cooperating with several public and private sector institutions to ensure the success of the initiative.

Meanwhile, the Prince met with presidents of institutions that provide care for PWD and listened to their demands.
