Prince Mired sponsors activity on spinal cord injuries care

Ammon News - Prince Mired bin Ra'ad, Honorary President of the Jordan Jordanian Spinal Cord Injuries Society (JOSCIS), Sunday sponsored a cultural activity held by JOSCIS in cooperation with the Hashemite Commission for Disabled Soldiers (HCDS).

JOSCIS President, retired Major General, Ali Atoum, said in a statement that the association enjoys the "support of His Highness Prince Mired bin Ra'ad, the honorary president of the association, in all its activities," adding that JOSCIS is keen to organise such meetings that would raise awareness on spinal cord injuries.

The event, held at HCDS HQ, included a concert performed by the "Kings Academy Musical Band," as part of the community music programme.

The event included an educational activity to answer the inquiries of injured civilians and military personnel and how to deal with their injuries to spread health awareness and avoid complications for the injured.
