King from Azmi Al-Mufti camp: Jordan makes great efforts to provide support to UNRWA

Ammon News - His Majesty King Abdullah II affirmed that Jordan is making great efforts to provide support to the United Nations Relief and Works Agency for Palestinian Refugees "UNRWA", through coordination with various international partners and holding international meetings and conferences.
During his Majesty's meeting, on Monday, with a number of sons and daughters of the martyr Azmi Al-Mufti camp in Irbid governorate, to listen to their demands, that despite the financial difficulties UNRWA is going through, Jordan has continued to provide all possible services to our people in the camps, and works with the international community to increase aid to the Agency, his Majesty indicated.
On sponsoring the camps in the Kingdom, His Majesty referred to his permanent directives to provide all support to them through royal initiatives and in cooperation with the government, noting that the camp's demands and priorities will be followed up with the concerned authorities and UNRWA.
With regard to the Palestinian issue, His Majesty affirmed that there is no retreat from Jordan's firm stance towards it, stressing the permanent Jordanian-Palestinian coordination to defend the legitimate rights of the Palestinian people.
His Majesty also affirmed that Jordan will continue to protect and defend Islamic and Christian holy sites in Jerusalem under the Hashemite guardianship.
