The congress, held from Oct. 16-22, 2022, adopted a resolution on the report of the 19th CPC Central Committee and a resolution on amending the CPC constitution, and the new central committee was elected during the congress and Xi Jinping was re-elected as general secretary of the CPC Central Committee, the ambassador said.
He classified that the 20th NCCCP was held at a crucial moment when all Party members and people of all nationalities across the country began to advance the new march of building a modern socialist country in an all-round way and strive towards the goal of struggle at the 100th anniversary of the founding of the People's Republic of China.
The conference reviewed the work of the past five years and the great changes during the decade of the new era.
