Court continues trial of Luweibdeh building collapse case

Ammon News - Amman Penal Court on Sunday held its tenth public session to continue trial of Luweibdeh building collapse case, in which the defense attorneys submitted petitions to be added to the case dossier.

Attorneys forwarded a petition requesting the court to render a number of papers tabled by the ad hoc expert committee from English into Arabic and duly to know the report's "important" content related to the case.

The court decided to check details of the defense request and accordingly announce its ruling during the next session.

Meanwhile, the court is still in hearing 31 chunks of evidence presented by Public Prosecution.

To date, the court heard 24 witnesses, including two experts from the 5- strong member committee to determine causes of the deadly building collapse.
