During the meeting, Dughmi underlined the deep-rooted ties with Sweden and His Majesty King Abdullah's commitment to advancing them in various fields to serve the interests of both countries. He pointed to the significance of the visit of Carl XVI Gustaf, King of Sweden, and Queen Silvia to Jordan next month to open a regional office for the MENTOR organization. Ambassador Rydmark said the opening of the regional office in Jordan highlights its major regional role, adding that the Sweden King's and an accompanying economic delegation's visit next month will introduce Jordan's tourist sites to the Swedish people.

Ammon News - Speaker of the Lower House of Parliament Abdul Karim Dughmi met with Swedish Ambassador Alexandra Rydmark on Wednesday.

During the meeting, Dughmi underlined the deep-rooted ties with Sweden and His Majesty King Abdullah's commitment to advancing them in various fields to serve the interests of both countries.
