Increase in Jordan's exports to Gulf countries

Ammon News - The total volume of trade exchange between Jordan and the Gulf Cooperation Council countries (GCC) increased in the first half of this year to reach 2.804 billion dinars, compared to 2.044 billion dinars for the same period last year 2021.
The Kingdom's exports to the (GCC) increased during the first half of this year to 635 million dinars, compared to 612 million dinars for the same period last year, according to statistical data.
The Kingdom's imports from the Gulf Cooperation Council countries (Saudi Arabia, the UAE, Qatar, Kuwait, Bahrain and the Sultanate of Oman) also increased in the first half of this year, reaching 2.169 billion dinars, compared to 1.432 billion dinars for the same period last year.
The Kingdom of Saudi Arabia came on the list of the top countries for trade exchange between the Kingdom and the countries of the (GCC) in the first half of this year, bringing the volume of trade exchange between the two countries to about 1.850 billion dinars, compared to the same period last year, which amounted to 1.427 billion dinars.
The value of Jordanian exports to Saudi Arabia in the first half of this year amounted to about 390 million dinars, while the Kingdom's imports amounted to about 1.460 billion dinars. Thus, the trade balance deficit with the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia amounted to about 1.070 billion dinars in the first half of this year.
the volume of trade exchange with the United Arab Emirates, during the first half of this year, amounted to about 679 million dinars, according to statistical data that was based on official figures.
The data indicated that the value of Jordanian exports to the UAE amounted to about 87 million dinars, while our imports amounted to about 592 million dinars, and thus the trade balance deficit with the UAE reached about 505 million dinars in the first half of this year.
The trade exchange between Jordan and Qatar in the first half of this year amounted to about 65 million dinars, as the value of our exports to Qatar amounted to about 55 million dinars, while our imports recorded about 10 million dinars. In the first half of this year.

The volume of trade exchange between Jordan and Kuwait in the first half of this year amounted to about 111 million dinars, as the value of our exports to Kuwait reached 59 million dinars, while the value of our imports amounted to 52 million dinars, and thus the Kingdom's trade balance has achieved a surplus of 7 million dinars.

The volume of intra-trade between the Kingdom and the Sultanate of Oman in the first half of this year amounted to about 40 million dinars.
The data showed that the value of Jordanian exports to Oman amounted to 23 million dinars, while the volume of imports from Oman in the first half of this year reached 17 million dinars, with the Kingdom's trade balance recording a surplus of 6 million dinars.
With regard to the Kingdom's intra-trade with Bahrain, the exchange between the two countries in the first half of this year amounted to about 59 million dinars.
And Jordanian exports to Bahrain in the first half of this year amounted to about 21 million dinars, compared to 38 million dinars in imports. Thus, the trade balance deficit during the first half of this year will be about 17 million dinars.
