Ammon News - The police seized 9 rioters on Thursday in the Shafa Badran riots to the judiciary, after referring 10 people earlier on Wednesday.
The suspects were presented to the Public Prosecutor by police today, Thursday morning.
The number of defendants in the case rose to 42, of whom 19 were arrested before 4 were released on Thursday.
Tariq Al-Shakhanbeh, Amman Public Prosecutor, decided to detain 6 rioters along with the 10 who were detained yesterday, while he decided to set other 4 free , including a juvenile.
The Public Prosecutor charged the detainees with the felony of setting fire to buildings, repeated 11 times, the felony of setting fire to vehicles, repeated 10 times, and the misdemeanor of vandalism while participating in riots.
