Ammon News - Interior Minister Mazen Faraya has approved the new online pre-booking mechanism for the transport company facilitating departures from the King Hussein Bridge. The following link can be used for bookings: https://onelink.to/3ct2n7 as of next Sunday.

The company will not charge any additional fees for the online service, and will not affect other means of transport at the bridge, the Jordan News Agency, Petra, reported.

The ministry said that this procedure is part of continuous efforts to support Palestinians and to facilitate departure movements through the bridge towards the West Bank in a way that ensures avoiding overcrowding, saving the time and effort of passengers.

Regarding booking procedures, the ministry said that departing passengers can book their trips through the aforementioned link to avoid the overcrowding incidents that the bridge witnessed in mid-July, adding that they can also book through the company’s offices.

The procedure will enable passengers to know the time of departure, bus number and the seat number before crossing the bridge, the ministry said.

The ministry said that it will coordinate with all stakeholders concerned with facilitating procedures on the Jordanian side of the bridge.
