King offers condolences to Sabbagh family

Ammon News - AMMAN (Petra) –– His Majesty King Abdullah on Sunday sent a cable of condolences to the family of Hasib Sabbagh, who passed away last week.

In the cable, King Abdullah expressed his deepest sympathies over the death of Sabbagh, who dedicated his life to supporting the Palestinian steadfastness to achieve their national aspirations, the Jordan News Agency, Petra, reported.

Born in 1920 in Tiberias, Sabbagh graduated from the Arab College of Jerusalem in 1938 and received a BA in civil engineering from the American University of Beirut.

He was co-founder of the Consolidated Contractors Company, one of the Middle East’s largest construction companies.
