Arab league 'concerned' over Libya clashes

Ammon News - The Arab League Saturday said it was "deeply concerned" regarding the armed clashes that have erupted in Tripoli, Libya.

The spokesperson for the pan-Arab organisation's secretary-general, Advisor Jamal Rushdi, said Secretary-General Ahmad Aboul Gheit urged the Libyan parties to uphold the ceasefire agreement, adding it is the most prominent achievement in Libya since October 2020.


Rushdi added the SG supports all efforts to breathe life into the political process in Libya to restore stability, prosperity and development in the country.
