The new defense order states that: First: The provisions relating to the termination or renewal of work contracts mentioned in Defense Order No. (1) of 2020 and the communications issued pursuant thereto do not apply to employees who were appointed after its entry into force in institutions and establishments of the private sector or any other entity subject to the Labor Law, whether these institutions, establishments or other entities existed before or after the entry into force of this order. Second: For the purposes of item (first) of this communication, the provisions of paragraphs (a) and (b) of Article (21) and Article (23) of Labor Law No. (8) of 1996 shall apply. Third: The Prime Minister amends the provisions of this communication according to the communications he issues for this purpose.

Ammon News - Prime Minister Bisher Al-Khasawneh on Monday issued Defense Order No. 56 for the year 2022.

The new defense order states that:

First: The provisions relating to the termination or renewal of work contracts mentioned in Defense Order No. (1) of 2020 and the communications issued pursuant thereto do not apply to employees who were appointed after its entry into force in institutions and establishments of the private sector or any other entity subject to the Labor Law, whether these institutions, establishments or other entities existed before or after the entry into force of this order.
