Jordan, USAID review means to support Kingdom’s reform efforts

Minister of Planning and International Cooperation Nasser Shraideh and USAID Deputy Administrator Isobel Coleman discussed ways to support Jordan's reform and development efforts. 

Discussions also covered the priorities and aspects of future cooperation between the countries in the water, economic development, education and healthcare sectors, in addition to supporting the Kingdom's youth and women, according to a ministry statement. 

During the meeting held in Washington, Shraideh stressed that the government is looking forward to more cooperation between the countries at various levels, which will have a "significant" impact in supporting the implementation of the Kingdom's national reform and development plans and programmes. 

Jordan’s Ambassador to Washington Dina Kawar attended the meeting.
