Jordan, Mexico talk air services cooperation

Ammon News - Chief Commissioner /CEO of the Civil Aviation Regulatory commission (CARC), Haitham Mesto, on Wednesday discussed with the Mexican Ambassador to Jordan , Roberto Rodriguez Hernandez, ways to enhance joint cooperation in the civil aviation fields.

Speaking at the meeting, Mesto stressed the importance of strengthening joint cooperation in the civil aviation area, and encouraging airlines to establish direct airlines between the two countries.

Hernandez, for his part, stressed the importance of strengthening and facilitating international air services, and expanding the two countries' civil aviation cooperation, which would enhance their bilateral trade volume, and stimulate and support the growing tourism, through charter flights.

At the end of the meeting, Mesto welcomed acceleration of procedures aimed at signing the draft Jordan-Mexico air services agreement to open the way for direct and indirect air operations and overcome potential obstacles.
