About 1.252 heads of sheep and goat were slaughtered in 2021 for human consumption, indicating an increase of 10 percent year on year.

Ammon News - Jordan's sheep and goat population increased by 3 percent in 2021 to a total of 3.889 million heads compared with 3.765 million heads in 2020, according to official figures.
