In a statement on Wednesday, JFDA's Director-General Nizar Mheidat said that 6 alimentation facilities were shut down, 40 suspended, and 665 others warned for violating the administration's health standards. It also destroyed 5 tons of food and 2,000 liters of liquid, and took 112 samples of the local market's foodstuffs, he added. The JFDA called on citizens to contact it if they have any observation, inquiry or complaint via the toll-free complaints line 117114, e-mail info@jfda.jo, and through the "WhatsApp" application on the number 0795632000 available around the clock.

Ammon News - The Jordan Food and Drug Administration (JFDA) monitoring and inspection teams conducted 1,400 inspections during the second week of the holy month of Ramadan.
