Ministry Spokesperson Haitham Abu Al Foul said the storming of the compound is a flagrant violation which is rejected and condemned, calling on the Israeli authorities to immediately pullback its police and special forces from Al Aqsa Mosque. He warned of the consequences of such escalation, holding Israel accountable for the safety of Al Aqsa Mosque/Al Haram Al Sharif compound and the worshippers. Abu Al Foul called on Israel to adhere to its obligations, as the occupying power, in accordance with international humanitarian law.

The Ministry of Foreign Affairs and Expatriates strongly condemned Israeli police and special forces’ storming of Al Aqsa Mosque/Al Haram Al Sharif compound and attacking worshippers.
