In a statement, Azayza underlined the need to expand and develop joint Arab action between Jordan, Egypt and Iraq in the field of transport nationally and regionally by creating investment and economic opportunities.

AMB's success, he indicated, is an important model for enhancing cooperation and linking the three countries with the region, adding that leveraging the available opportunities and expanding the company's business would increase cooperation and economic integration between the three countries.

On the sidelines of the meeting, Azayza discussed with his Egyptian and Iraqi counterparts a number of issues related to transport.

Founded in 1985, the Arab Bridge Maritime is a joint venture between the governments of Jordan, Egypt and Iraq that operates the Aqaba-Nuweiba ferry service line for the transportation of passengers, goods and vehicles of all sorts.
