The group will be responsible for following up on and conducting necessary consultations and contacts with the Ukrainian crisis concerned parties, with the aim of contributing to finding a diplomatic solution to it.

The group includes Jordan, Algeria, Sudan, Iraq, Egypt and the United Arab Emirates as a non-permanent member state of the UN Security Council, in addition to the Secretary-General of the Arab League.
