Ammon News -

Prime Minister Bisher Khasawneh on Sunday said that the government "had immediately responded" to an order by His Majesty King Abdullah II to enable 27,000 students to access grants and loans by a university students' fund.

The premier told a lower house session that the government will, in the next two days, "revisit some aspects of capital expenditures" to secure JD25 million to JD30 million needed to finance the University Student Fund, which targets students in public universities.

Earlier, King Abdullah had ordered to give all students registered for the funds full access, following requests from parliament members.
