Ammon News - Temperatures on Tuesday are forecast to increase, bringing pleasant weather conditions in most parts of the country, and warm in the Jordan Valley, the Dead Sea and Aqaba, with clouds at high altitudes and southwesterly moderate winds, the Jordan Meteorological Department (JMD) said in its daily update.

Wednesday will see another rise in mercury levels to become 6-7 degrees above annual average, bringing unseasonably warm weather countrywide, with southeasterly moderate to brisk winds.

Chilly weather will make a comeback on Thursday as a cold front will be affecting the Kingdom, pushing temperatures down with cloudy skies and southwesterly moderate winds, the weather department added, noting that scattered showers accompanied by thunder will fall in the northern region.

Another drop in mercury levels is expected on Friday, bringing rainy and cold weather conditions, mainly in the northern and central parts of the country, with southwesterly strong winds.

The maximum and minimum temperatures in Amman today will range between 19 degrees Celsius, dipping into 8C at night, while the Gulf of Aqaba will see a fair 26C, dropping to 13C during night hours.
