Students return to schools on Sunday

Ammon News - A total of 2,186,957 students across the Kingdom on Sunday returned to their schools to resume in-class education at the start of the second semester of the 2021-2022 school year.

Secretary General of the Ministry of Education, Najwa Qubeilat, said the Ministry has formed an operations room to follow up on progress of the educational process in schools and receive comments from the field, students and parents.

Qubeilat said the Ministry is keen to resume in-class education in schools and preserve, at the same time, the health of students and teachers by following the health protocol in coordination with the Health Ministry and the National Center for Security and Crisis Management (NCSCM).

She added that the number of schools receiving students Sunday amount to 7,446 schools affiliated with all educational deopartments, while the number of public schools is 4,002 across the Kingdom.
