Ammon News - Temperatures on Sunday are forecast to be slightly below annual average, bringing cold and partly cloudy conditions in most regions, with a chance for scattered showers in the western parts of the Kingdom, the Jordan Meteorological Department (JMD) said in its daily update.
At night, weather will gradually stabilize, but fog formation in the Badia and mountains is expected, the JMD added.
On Monday and Tuesday, cold weather will persist despite a slight rise in mercury levels, with clouds appearing at different altitudes and northwesterly moderate to brisk winds.
Wednesday will see another rise in temperatures to become 4-5 degrees above annual average, but the weather department did not rule out the possibility of scattered showers during the evening hours in different parts of the country.
The maximum and minimum temperatures in Amman today will range between 13 degrees Celsius, dipping into 4C at night, while the Gulf of Aqaba will see a fair 18C, dropping to 11C during night hours.
