Ammon News - The media spokesperson for the Ministry of Awqaf and Islamic Affairs, Husam al-Hiyari, said that there were no reports of injuries due to the fall of an iron ceiling at al-Arda mosque during Friday sermon.

He added that Minister of Awqaf and Islamic Affairs Mohammad Khalayleh has followed up on the incident and urged the concerned authorities at the ministry to make the necessary maintenance of the mosque.

The minister had previously asked all the concerned authorities to make the necessary maintenance of all mosques countrywide.
