The Jordan Europe Business Association (JEBA) and the Ukrainian Council of Exporters and Investors signed an agreement to enhance trade and investment exchange.
According to a press release by the JEBA on Wednesday, the agreement, which was signed during a meeting organized by the Association in cooperation with the Ukrainian embassy and in the presence of Ukrainian Deputy Foreign Minister Dmytro Senik, seeks to prop up Jordanian exports to the Ukrainian market, as well as increase visits, exhibitions, and training programs.
President of the JEBA, Jamal Badran, pointed to the strong economic relations between the two countries, stating that the agreement will boost ties by holding economic events and organizing meetings between business communities.
He stressed during the meeting the importance of strengthening economic sectors' productivity and commercial exchange, especially after the Covid-19 fallout, in addition to benefiting from Ukrainian expertise in many fields.
For his part, Senik said his country is fully committed to developing investment and commercial exchange, and leveraging the Kingdom's opportunities in the food, agricultural, communication, Information Technology, and tourism sectors.
Senik pointed to the importance of cooperation with Jordan in agricultural fields and vocational training, and supporting the entrepreneurship sector, online education, digital skills training and implementing information technology solutions in industrial production to make the Kingdom a regional information technology hub.
