FM receives call from Iranian counterpart

Ammon News - Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs and Expatriates, Ayman Safadi, on Monday received a phone call from Iranian Foreign Minister Hossein Amir-Abdollahian, Jordan News Agency Petra reported.

During the call, both ministers discussed bilateral ties, means of developing them, and a number of regional issues of common interest.

The two ministers also discussed efforts to resolve regional crises, contacts and dialogue channels taking place in the region to resolve differences, and build regional relations that establish security and stability, and serve the interests of all its peoples and countries.

Safadi stressed that the Kingdom always works for dialogue, and seeks healthy regional ties, based on the principle of good neighborliness, and non-interference in internal affairs, according to Petra.

The two ministers reaffirmed keenness to develop relations, and to continue communication and frank dialogue on all issues, in a way that contributes to strengthening the relations of the two countries and resolving regional differences.
