QAIA handles 5,702 ACMs in August, up 8pct MoM

Ammon News - The Queen Alia International Airport handled a total of 5,702 inbound and outbound aircraft movements (ACM) in August, up 8 percent from the figure reported in July, according to Haitham Misto, Chief Commissioner of the Civil Aviation Regulatory Commission (CARC).

Misto told Petra that the total ACMs since the start of the current year reached 26,271 to and from 59 direct destinations.

Similarly, passenger traffic picked up by 7 percent in August to a total of about 655,000 travellers. The daily average of inbound and outbound flights stood at 183 against 26 and 276 in the same month of 2020 and 2021, respectively, Misto noted.
