King meets with France President

His Majesty King Abdullah on Saturday met in Baghdad with France President Emmanuel Macron, and discussed means of enhancing bilateral relations and cooperation in various sectors.

King Abdullah lauded the efforts of France and Macron in support of the Baghdad Conference for Cooperation and Partnership.

The meeting also discussed the latest developments with regards to the crises in Lebanon as the two leaders stressed the importance of working together and continuing efforts to support Lebanon's stability.

 

The meeting attended by Deputy Prime Minister and Foreign Minister Ayman Safadi, Director of the Office of His Majesty Jafar Hassan, General Intelligence Department Director Maj. Gen. Ahmad Husni, and Jordan’s Ambassador to Iraq Montaser Oklah Alzoubi.
