Jordanian missing in Turkey found in good health

The family of a Jordanian, Husam Khasawneh who had gone missing in Turkey said to Ammonnews that he was found in good health.

The family added that they were informed that Khasawneh was found without any further details.

For his part, Daifallah Fayez, the Spokesman for the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and Expatriates on Thursday said that Husam Khasawneh who had gone missing while vacationing in Turkey was found in good health.

Earlier this month, Husam Khasawneh had suffered a head injury that caused temporary memory loss and disorientation, due to which he left his hotel room without notifying anyone.

The Jordanian embassy in Ankara, Fayez noted, had followed up with local authorities on the case and notified the ministry that Khasawneh is currently in an Istanbul hospital.

A team from the embassy visited Khasawneh in the hospital to check on his health, and informed his brother, who is in Turkey. The embassy is now working to finalize all the necessary arrangements to secure his return to the Kingdom as soon as possible.
