Normal summer weather expected in plains, hilly areas

Ammon News - Temperatures on Monday are forecast to be around their annual average, with normal summer conditions prevailing in the heights and the plains, while it will be hot in the Jordan Valley, the Dead Sea and Aqaba, according to the Jordan Meteorological Department (JMD).

The weather department warned about standing under direct sunlight for extended periods, especially at noon, and also about low-visibility in the northern heights due to fog formation in the early morning hours.

On Tuesday and Wednesday, a slight rise in temperature is expected to bring back hot weather conditions across most of the Kingdom, while it will be scorching in the Jordan Valley, the Dead Sea and Aqaba, with clouds at low altitudes and northwesterly moderate to brisk winds.

Today, the maximum and minimum temperatures in Amman will range between 32 Celsius degrees and 20 degrees at night, while the Gulf of Aqaba will see a searing 42 degrees, dropping to 28 degrees during night hours.
