Ammon News - The 19th Amman International Summer Shopping Festival is making a comeback in September with local, Arab and international participation, after last year’s forced cancelation due to concerns over the spread of COVID-19.

A statement released Sunday by the International Promoters Company for Marketing and Exhibition Organization (IPCO) said that the 10-day festival will kick off on Sept. 9th, bringing together companies from Syria, Palestine, Iran, Pakistan, Saudi Arabia and Egypt, in addition to local industrial companies showcasing products through their own pavilions.

The festival, held at the Jordan International Exhibition Center (JIEC) amid full compliance with health and public safety measures, will be opened daily from 11:30am to 3pm for businessmen and business owners, and from 3pm to 11pm for direct sale to the public.

"The Amman International Summer Festival is one of the most important events in the Kingdom because of its economic, commercial and promotional importance, giving a chance for Jordanian families and visitors to become acquainted with shopping and entertainment experiences," said IPCO General Manager, Raed Abu Saadeh.

He added that this year’s session focuses on the Jordanian industry by allocating a special support for the participants, provided by the Amman Chamber of Industry, calling on citizens to visit and see the great quality of the local industrial products.

Throughout the days of the festival, special meetings will be conducted between business owners from abroad and Jordanian factory owners and traders, to give them a first-hand-look at the jordanian products, ink collaboration deals and open new export markets.
