Ammon News -

The Ministry of Foreign Affairs and Expatriates Saturday condemned attacks on a funeral procession in Salahuddin province in northern Iraq and Iraqi security forces in Diyala province, which killed or injured dozens of people.

The ministry's official spokesman Daifallah Al-Fayez said Jordan strongly condemns the two "cowardly terrorist attacks," reiterating that the Kingdom stands by Iraq "in the face of all that threatens its stability, security and the security of its brotherly people."

He expressed his condolences to the Iraqi government and people and the families of the victims, wishing the injured speedy recovery.
